Great weekend

This weekend Aaron and I went to McKinney for Lindsay and John's Engagement Party!

The entire way there I was working on TAKS notes for all of the 3rd and 4th graders at my school. Let's just say that I am going to be sooo happy when TAKS is over this week!!!! Cross your fingers and say prayers that my 3rd graders pass the 2nd round.

On Saturday Aaron and I enjoyed a little fun with my brother, Erik. For the first time EVER I played the Wii. I only bowled, but it ROCKED!!!! I am pretty good at it if I do say so myself. =) I score way higher than I do in real bowling! I am thinking we may need to invest in one

That night we went to the Engagement Party. Stacie throws a great party. It was good to get to see the old gang. I don't even know the last time that we were all together. It's always great to hang out with old friends. Times have changed in the last few years with babies and weddings, but we still have loads of fun together. I love y'all!!

My knees are burning!!

Aaron and I went to our first Aggie baseball game today... and this is what happened to my knees. It was a brisk 70 degrees outside and my stinkin' knees get sunburned... now they are on fire!!! We had lots of fun at the game. The fans around us were rather rambunctious. Lots of hollering at the umpire, players, etc... We were happy to be close to such an entertaining group.




This frog was on our bedroom window the other night. Kinda cool! We have had all kinds of wildlife at our house. We saw a opossum one night in the fall. Then this winter there was an owl on the fence in our backyard.

Here we go

So I have been playing around with these blogs ever since I found out about Becca's. I was getting tired of MySpace and Facebook (not to mention a little old...), so here we go...

Aaron and I are having lots of fun lately becoming more responsible . In case you didn't know it, we adopted a Beagle on Valentine's Day. I am learning how to be a little less self absorbed! Buddy is a very friendly little guy who loves going to the dog park. He and Aaron often visit for a little boy bonding. Buddy loves to chase after the big dogs and gets tired out. No complaints from us!
